International magic coming to Rome

The 7th annual SUPERMAGIC International Festival of Magic returns to Rome January 22 – 31, 2010, with MISTERO, an original theatrical magical presentation that will engage and

charm adults and children of all ages. At the beautiful Theater Olimpico in the heart of Rome (Piazza Gentile da Fabriano 17), MISTERO is a mythical theatre experience transcending rationality and questioning certainty featuring state-of-the-art special effects and an international cast of award-winning performers:

Christopher Hart, “the most famous right hand in film,” an American magician well known as “Thing” in the Addams Family movies, and twice Magician of the Year at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Jordan Gomez, an amazing French magician, represents the future of magic as the youngest Supermagic talent at only 18 years old.

Alberto e Laura Giorgi, Italian illusionists, winners of Paris’ Mandrake D’Or award, present impossible illusions suspended between modernity and tradition.

Ardan James, a unique award-winning American mime-magician, delivers an explosive mixture of extraordinary theatrical amazement.

Gaetano Triggiano, a profound Italian illusionist, tours the world with his outstanding play Tablo, staged by Serge Denoncourt, director of Cirque du Soleil. Enter his hidden, poetic dimension.

Arno, a brilliant French illusionist, is a world-master of remarkable magic featuring parrots, cockatoos and macaws, the most beautiful birds on Earth.

Magic Alivernini, an outrageous Italian comic magician, has performed on the most famous stages of comedy, from Bagaglino to Zelig. His crazy, magical character will leave you breathless from laughter.

Remo Pannain, a well-known Roman attorney, is also an elegant performance magician, as well as the creator and organizer of the SUPERMAGIC International Festival of Magic. Winner of numerous international awards, Remo will debut a special new mystery at MISTERO.

Vito Lupo, Director of MISTERO, is an accomplished magic artist from New York City and currently a creative consultant for Disney advising on special events at Disney World in Florida.
